Not sure, should I be able to list a large list of address in one limit
statement? If so, then I would say bug. If not, and I just am unfamiliar with
the limit, then OK, its a question and will post else where.

How large is "large list of addresses"?

The limits will most likely be in terms either of the number of characters on a
single proftpd.conf line (in which case, you can split the rule across several
lines), or in terms of performance.
